OUR PASTOR

Dr. Viju Philip
Dr. Viju Philip—a native Malayalee born and raised in North India—has dedicated his life to serving Jesus Christ and helping people realize their full God-given potential. His calling became unmistakably clear during a life-altering moment in San Jose, California, where the Lord gave him a vision of the work to be done in India. That vision redirected the course of his life and ministry.

Obedient to that call, Dr. Viju left the comfort of the United States and moved to the villages of Tamil Nadu. Reaching the unreached—often in unfamiliar languages and with limited resources—he embraced the role of a missionary, a Bible teacher, and a compassionate shepherd. His early ministry journey included serving as a Youth Pastor and Bible College instructor, all marked by a deep passion for the Gospel and holistic care for people.

In 2008, God expanded the vision further by leading him and his family to the Middle East. For over a decade in Kuwait, Dr. Viju ministered across cultural and linguistic lines, equipping leaders, planting churches.

Dr. Viju has penned several books. His books—including “I Will Fear No Evil,” “123 – Two Thoughts and a Prayer,” and “Stay Afloat: ‘Praying Through the Pandemic and Beyond!” - have been well accepted by readers across the world.
He is married to Jessy Philip, a trained psychologist and graduate in divinity from Serampore University. Together, they continue to minister as a team wherever God leads them.

They are blessed with four children: Steven, Jeremy, Rufus, and Aradhanaa.
